Welcome to Darul Ihsan University web site, the global face of one of the oldest private University in Bangladesh. Our site provides a comprehensive look at the University and highlights the strengths that have made this University a familiar one, both home and abroad.

We know that the function of University is the advancement of knowledge, developing character, personality, and leadership and above all to make patriotic and educated citizens. Education can make a man honorable and remarkable. But honor depends on integrity plus reputation. Integrity is a lifetime commitment to take care of you physically, to grow intellectually through learning, to mature emotionally, and to nurture the values, morals and ethics. Keeping this in mind the vision and objectives of this University had been developed and drawn.

The Mission of Darul Ihsan University is to develop an education system which is faith-based philosophy but modern in approach to achieve a balanced individual and collective growth of human being through an integrated process of modern education for the attainment of spiritual, moral, and intellectual perfection and confidence throughout the life for the good causes of humanity and national development at large.

The objective is to stop the erosion of moral values among the younger generation and each individual to grow up as a devoted selfless servant of Almighty Allah with modern knowledge required for good causes of humanity and participation in development activities of the nation.

Higher education is one of the most important issues for Bangladesh’s social, cultural, and economic future. Darul Ihsan University offers the community a range of options for various educational programs, advance the people with knowledge and are the forefront of developing new ways of participatory learning and teaching to meet the society’s need.

The Darul Ihsan University strives to offer the highest quality of Campus-based undergraduate and graduate education in a broad range of fields. We try to place a high value on learning, and we support our beliefs with student- centered learning using the best resources.

Since its foundation in 1989 and approval in 1995 by the Government of the Peoples Republic of Bangladesh, the Darul Ihsan University has been at the heart and mind of the people of Bangladesh, shaping its community and culture. Our graduates have been equipped for leadership in their chosen field by providing an environment where they are encouraged to develop independence thought, creativity, and confidence.

The University had been crossing a clumsy situation before 2006 after the death of the Founder. However, the clumsy situation of ‘determining authority’ has been settled legally in 2009. I then become involved as Chairman of Darul Ihsan Trust and Darul Ihsan University. To restore the previous dignity as well as upholding the image of the Darul Ihsan University I have concentrated deeply to the activities of the university.

The academic activities have been streamlined and the facilities have been extended.

The students are providing better facilities and user-friendly academic environment. The senior and rich faculties are made available to all departments. To regain its position, dignity and honor and also to keep it free from the vested interested quarters I will leave no stone unturned to fulfill the mission and to achieve the objectives.

The University Grant Commission (UGC) look after the Public and private university has been rendering their service to us and we feel encouraged to accelerate our activities for the benefit of the students to make them really an educated individuals.

We have our future strategic plan to set up own Main Campus within a short period of time.
